Cheonjeyeon Falls is a three tier waterfall located on Jeju island. It is located next to the Botanic Garden in the Seogwipo Tourist area.
Cheonjeyeon Falls (천제연폭포), named ‘The pond of God’, consists of 3 parts. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives, such as the rare ‘solipnan’ reeds. To the east, there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create a waterfall. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and third waterfalls and flows into the sea.
We didn’t get around to seeing the 3rd tier of the waterfall as we were quite exhausted looking at the different attractions in the area.
To get close up to the waterfall we had to cross the Seonimgyo Bridge ( an arch bridge that had 7 nymphs carved on each side)
Doesn’t the bridge look really lovely?
Have you visited any waterfalls lately?

Beautiful photos 🙂 I love to visit waterfalls but we haven’t done it for a while. You’ve inspired me to plan a day trip.
Fab photos love the atmosphere and the sound around waterfalls 😉
Have a aquatastic week
Those are absolutely beautiful pictures.
Those falls are absolutely stunning! I really love the photo you took of the babbling brook.

How refreshing! The bridge is very unusual. This is the sort of scenery I absolutely adore, but have not been near water for quite some time now. Hope to correct that before the year is out!! YAM xx
Very Pretty! I have never seen a waterfall in person. Would love to someday!
Wow! The first two are stunning, but it is the third one that is my favorite. I would love to see this waterfall someday.

Stunningly Beautiful. My brother travels to Korea often (he is a professor in Utah) and has showed us many wonderful things in Korea!
